play dresses

These dresses make the best play dresses.

Easy to run, jump, dance, roll, climb, wriggle and play in, they make a great kinder dress. On the cooler days, I layer them up with a long sleeved tee and leggings.

Fabric: Disco flower (Amy Butler)
Dress for my Miss B

Fabric: Antler Damask (Joel Dewberry)
Size 2 for a Miss S.

little red pinnie

This lovely little dress is on its way to a new home tomorrow. A custom for Miss A.

I made it using my favourite colour - red- in a very coarse weave fabric ( it looks like a cotton linen blend). The texture of the dress is really beautiful. It's quite heavy and thick, perfect for upcoming Autumn.
I hope it sees lots of wear.

Robin Peasant Dress

The latest dress for Miss B. A simple yet very cute play dress, using Joel Dewberry's Deer Valley fabric collection.
One of my all time favourite fabrics- one because it's red ('ish) and secondly because of all the little birdies throughout the print. I just love birds!
Hopefully Miss B will love it as much too.

peasant dress

This cute little dress has been a long time coming.
If memory serves me right, it was cut out about two months ago and has been waiting very patiently on the sewing bench. Much needed attention was given to it this morning, and hey- presto- Miss B has a new lightweight, summer frock.

A very easy dress to make- great for day care. So, many more dresses are on the to do list.

dress for a sad day

Granpa passed away.

Suitable dress to say goodbye could not be found.

A small pinnie made instead; with satin trim and removable matching flower and hair clip.

*sniff*
